CANCAS Lecture Program
The Collegiate Academy of the North Carolina Academy of Science (CANCAS) provides potential speakers for its members through the Lecture Program. A major objective of the program is to expose students to different areas of scientific research and to stimulate interest in particular fields of science with the hope that students may develop ideas for a research topic. A List of Speakers, providing the names and topics of faculty participating in the program, instructions for requesting speakers and other information about the Lecture Program is posted on the CANCAS website.
The success of the program depends on the willingness of faculty from across the state to present seminars in their area of specialty.
